Now I for one like the fact that we don´t have hundreds of players in the guild. It feels more like a family this way.
But still...
Sometimes I miss the company of someone to quest with, chat with or just to go crazy with.
We have hade alot of dropouts from the guild.
And that has not ben good.
It feels as if the guild is slowly disapearing..
We have to do something about this...
I know how you feel .... I am thinking of the same thing sometimes in the last days. But then I start thinking of what the situation in The One is at the moment and things start to look way better
Let me try to summarise what I mean :
Elsh - She is in Canada atm and she has some heavy marking to do. I am sure that we all miss our guildmaster, but this will end soon, and she will be back with us
Swifty - He is in Canada too, and with the Time Zones issue I guess it is hard to be online when we, who are in Europe usually play. Again this is temporary, and things will come back to normal when the Grat Canadian Adventure ends and all party members come back to Europe.
Val - He is in Paris for a couple of weeks (as far as I know), so we have nothing to do, but wait for his return
Schnur - The crazy gnome is part of the Canadian party .... enough said about them ... again we miss you all guys
.......
So ... "The One" is missing its Core - the Officers and the Guildmaster. This leads to less (I would say "None", but this will not be true, as we have a new Initiate - Serq) recruiting, and allmost none organised Guild Activities such as questing and fun events.
)
But again, they are not gone, the are just away for a while(maybe little more away then the rest of the guild likes them to be, but that is how things are, we shall accept them
...
On the other hand ... Zam is back, and he's shakin'
, I see Kyza online allmost every day, My business trip is over so I am back online too, The amazing Blues are allways great fun to chat and quest with, Diiiiiim (yes, I mean you
) is allways ready for some wild stuff (by the way, do you have the screenshot of me like a pirate and you like a skeleton from Stranglethorn? I found it on my PC, must upload it soon!) ...... If I have missed someone here, I hope I will be excused, do not hate the Dwarf
It seems to me, that things will start getting back to normal around September 10-15, when "The Canada crew" and Val come back, I see now that we have scheduled guild meetings on 09 september and 16 september(just checking the calendar for fridays to come
), and after those meetings things will start going up.
As for now .... I am afraid, that patience is the only option for us
The Dwarf has spoken !
Yes, yes.. all this is true as you say.
But I still feel lonely when a log on..
Had myself a look at the guild online time page in the game.
And this tells me that many of our members have not ben online for some time.
Now the one we know the reasons too why they are away is one ting.
But some we have no reason too...
This is what I ment when I said I was lonely...
(No I don´t have that photo)
Hi there,
yep, I know what you mean, Dimage. I've (unexpectedly) been online more often in the last days and found myself to be the only one sometimes, making life a bit solitary in a MMORPG... But when there was somebody else online from The One, we had a lot of fun, e.g. in SM (did 6 (or even more? can't remember exactly) instance runs there in the last 2 weeks) or in Uldaman - and with the help of you all I finally got my Mecha-Strider (exploring is now sooo much easier, alas, I went a bit too far out of Azeroth and can't find the way back (see my post "Argentina"))... learned to cook nice food for our parties now that makes nice +sta (Sonar took me on a kind of cooking-tour
)... finally got Presene of Mind (hehe, doing 850 DPS with an instant Pyroblast crit is pretty cool)...
The new members of The One all seam to be really great people, and I hope that we can gain some more friends in the future, so that there will allways be someone in The One, no matter in which time-zone you are
All the best
Zam
