Back at the beginning of July, Tarandor told us he knew of a way to get into the Caverns of Time, a new multi-instance area that's supposed to be part of a future WoW expansion or patch. The Caverns of Time is hidden away in a corner of Tanaris and, since it's not officially open, it's not a place you can run in and out of like the wind. Nevertheless, flaws do exist, and a flaw in the world allowed Tarandor to take us on one of three trips The One was to make.
On the second and third trips, we took friends. One trip was with
Notswifty,
Elsheindra,
Shinytoaster and
Kalak. That's where we took the group photos. The other photos are from one of the earlier trips.

070706: Gaze Upon the Wonder. Elsheindra, on one of her first trips, makes her way to the main Caverns of Time area, glancing up at the fascinating sky above her. |

070706: A captured sun blazes behind Elsheindra in all its contained glory on one of her first trips into the Caverns of Time. |

071606: A group photo from the third trip to the Caverns of Time. Here we have Kalak (left), Elsheindra, Swiftsong (Notswifty!), and Shinytoaster (far right). Again, they're standing on that tilted building with the meteors flying around behind them. |

071606: Another group shot, but from a different angle. Elsheindra is leftmost, then Kalak, then Swiftsong (Notswifty), then Shinytoaster. Nice shield, Kalak! Does it bite? |

070706: Elsheindra and Shinytoaster are standing on top of a tilted building in the Caverns of Time area, with the contained sun below them and the meteor-laden sky behind them. Awesome! |

070706: Elsheindra (left) and Shinytoaster (right) pose beneath the meteor-laden sky in the Caverns of Time. This was an amazing sight to see in full colour and movement. |

Still the place looks nice, if some what deserted. I'll bet that when it opens up they'll fill it full of level ?? Elite something-or-others. =(
Lovely pictures, Elsh, thanks for sharing them with us. And you certainly have an impressive framerate, 60.1 fps according to one of the shots - but then again, if the place doesn't have any baddies it helps on the speed a bit.
