Alas, I must take a leave of absence from WoW. I am simply unable to use a computer for more than a few hours a day because of repetitive strain injury.
I know some of you think those few hours should be spent playing WoW.
This has come about as a result of many, many months of working full time during the day (on the computer), working part time during the evening and weekends on a programming project (a time tracker: http://www.officetime.net) and much of the remaining time in WoW. Result: an armed uprising of my limbs.
I previously thought I was getting better and started working more and even playing WoW a little and got noticeably worse as a result. Thus I'm on a computer minimal diet for some months to come.
My heart wants to continue playing with all my dear friends and colleagues in The One.
Until my return...
/me sings a song of adventures won and lost, friendships founded and a world discovered
Binky raises a paw, a slight <gaWwooorph> is audible. He stares up with moist, black eyes.
i know how u feel in a way Swifty mate, i have a similar strain caused by excessive driving hours in my job.
computer use doesnt seem to affect it.. but after 30 mins or so of driving (changing gear constantly - not 30 mins on a motorway) my arm starts arching like hell..
and like you with the computers, i couldnt really do my work without driving so i just have to live with it.
ah well, hope it gets better soon, would love to see you joining us in raids at some point =)
just make sure u pop into WoW from time to time to say hello.
<sob>
My Sweetie is grievously injured and will no more adventure with me hand-in-hand amidst the dappled trees of the Elwynn Forest. Oh, how my heart does cry to hear the piteous wail of Binky and know my days of "bear buttocks" have come to a sorrowful conclusion.
Alas, Babylon, our woe cannot be expressed.
Futurama teaches us all
Get well soon

Saddens me deeply to hear that you and Binky won't return in the near future but at least we'll always have the memories of some crazy adventures prior to the attack of the evil RSI.
Hoping the RSI will allow you to keep improving OT. That program is quite the feat for sure. Did you get around to make BinkyTime as well? Binky could use a tight schedule and a time tracker when he has so much eating and sleeping to do...
Looking forward to playing games with you in person instead.
