I couldn't find anything about it, and maybe I should ask this at the meetings.
Could someone explain what happens with the guild loot after instance runs? I presume they are kept in the guild bank, but who can use it and/or what are the terms of demand?
So is it worth to buy all those recipes/plans/patterns which requires ingredients we only get thru guild runs?
Take 2 on the response for this after I lost the original one on December 23rd...
Some kinds of items are collected at Honourbound end-game raid events and distributed amongst participating guilds. In practice, that's included:
Our guild's share, whatever that happens to be, is sent to me or to MiniEin for storage. We haven't really had enough of any of these items until quite recently for us to have a policy on what we're going to do with them. At present, we have:
I've been accumulating the Bloodvine since May and the MC stuff since September. You can see that it hasn't exactly been growing all that quickly!
I'd say it's worthwhile having recipes for those things. Presumably, someone will need those special items at some point and we should, assuming we continue to do MC runs, acquire more and more of those as we make progress in MC. The ZG stuff doesn't drop all the time (alas) or as often.
As for who can get them and how/when, that will probably require some discussion. Given that they're only available from end-game raids, it may not be unreasonable to say that people who are doing such raids frequently (and therefore contributing to the acquisition of them) should have first dibs on requesting them. We may also want to look at using them to specifically equip tanks or other vital classes for these instances. I'm not sure yet. I am, however, pretty sure that they won't generally be handed over for reputation grinding. We just don't have a large enough stockpile for that.
