Summary

Event: THB leaders and representatives meeting
Meeting Date: Sunday, March 4th, 2007
Meeting Time: 16:00 CET (Game Time)

Agenda

There will be a meeting of the The Honourbound Alliance leaders and guild represenatives on March 4th at 16:00. Issues currently on the agenda:

  1. Ratify/discuss the draft of looting rules.
  2. Discuss upcoming THB post-TBC raiding activities. B&E have some ideas but a full and rewarding raid/event calendar will need input and participation from other guilds.

If you have other issues you think should be raised at this meeting, either add a comment to this page or please contact one of the guild's THB representatives.

Your Representatives

Your Honourbound representatives currently are:

  • Elsheindra (Guild mistress/THB Co-Coordinator/Senior THB representative for The One)
  • Shinytoaster (Officer/THB Junior Representative for The One)
  • Shekin (GIS Officer/THB Junior Representative for The One)

Your representatives have a responsibility to help coordinate THB activities, attend meetings where they represent the guild, and help mediate in intra-alliance disputes.

About raiding - as the raids require less than 40 people, I suggest that you look into providing raids on different days in the week. Myself won't be able to raid on thursdays, and if main raids are on thursdays and saturday raids are for those that came allready on thursdays I would be excluded from 2 main raiding days. if saturday raids would be open for all, that would help a lot. Monday and Sunday raids have been working well as well.

All the best,

Zam

Raids have always been run on different days of the week. Molten Core was Sundays and Tuesdays. Zul'Gurub runs were Thursdays and Saturdays. Onyxia was Wednesdays. AQ20 was Mondays. We try to pick different days for different events so people can go to different things. However, even when a raid had two different days, you could always sign-up for the second even if you hadn't gone to the first, although people attending the first one might have had first dibs. I don't think we ever turned anyone away on a Saturday ZG run because they hadn't been there on Thursday.

I suspect, however, that you mean providing the same raiding opportunity on different days of the week. We will be doing that (or trying to do that) for the Karazhan 10-person raids.

There will be more information about that shortly. I'm working on a summary of the THB meeting from yesterday.

Thank you Elsheindra.

Yes, I was thinking about Karazhan, and also about the problems with other-day rais, like like monday AQ20 raids which became impossible beccause other guilds made guild-only raids on this day (and maybe other days?), and sunday/tuesday raids died in the end as well (probably for various reasons that I don't know). So it's good to see some positive outcome from the meeting, I'm looking forward to hearing more and I guess I speak for the rest of the guild when I say thanks for your work and the work of the other representatives.

All the best,

Zam
