Camp Honourbound '07
Yet again it is time for the troops to gather. The Honourbound Alliance holds its 3'rd Real Life Meet, and this time it is the scandinavians turn to host.
The meet will take place Friday the 7'th to Sunday 9'th of september 2007. if you wish to join us Thursday and/or go home Monday, then just let me know, and I will arrange something.
It is gonna be a camp – so dont bring too many white jeans and short skirts – bring something warm for the evenings and something you can run around and play in ☺
Looking forward to seeing you all, and i am sure we will have loads of fun ☺

Things to think about and send answers to me soon:
- Can you sleep together with others ( the houses have 6 beds), either mixed or same sex ( we could do the girls and boys appart for the extra fun night-runs)
- If you prefer to sleep alone or with just 1 partner, can you then sleep in a tent, or do you actually prefer to sleep in a tent anyway.
- Are you allergic to anything, food, grass, whatever?
- Is there some things you dont eat ( like are you a vegitarian).
- If you go home Sunday then try and get a ticket late in the afternoon or in the evening - I am planning a trip around copenhagen on the Sunday, and it is quite hard to get to the airport early on the Sunday from the camp.
- Bring clothes for all weather- I am 99,99% sure it will be nice and sunny, but it might get a bit cold in the evenings.
- If you can/want, then bring a sleepingbag, if you prefer a duvet let me know so i have time to find some.
- Remember that mother nature is kind and not dangerous, dont be a wuss because it is camping! (-:
- Dig deep and find your inner boy/girl-scout - we are gonna have a blast!

The place costs about 400 pounds to rent, might be a bit more if we put up a lot of tents, but aprox 400 pounds.
wich means... cheeeeeap! atm I have 20 signups.. so what - around 20 pounds each for the lodging alone.. not all signups are certain, but either way it is cheap
food will be added when we get there.. i will do some shopping once I have all signups and know what ppl want to eat.

Guys - I will need to know if you are thinking of comming.. not a bound signup, just some numbers so i know what i have to work with

Sound nice.. Closer for me to travel too.. And to make it even close.. I can get a house for all of us to live in. My old scouting group has a house just outside the town i live in.. And it´s in the forrest. It can easily room about 60 of us. And I don´t think the cost would be to much since I still know alot of the ppl in the scout group.

And on the + side for me.. It would only take me 10 mins by car to go there..
Would take about 40 mins with bus and walking to get to it from the central parts of my town too...

I was unable to attend the london meet because of transport and cost and I won't be attending this one either
At this point, I can't commit to anything outside of the United Kingdom because of money and visa issues (All hail the Year of Change!), but I'll know more towards the end of the summer. Of course I'd love to be there!
I'd definitely love to come if I can get the money for it and such.

I am almost 100% sure that the meet will be the 2'nd weekend of september - ergo the 7'th to the 9'th.
I will know more when i have a confirmed booking of a place, and maybe a few more numbers on ppl attending - pls pls pls post here if you think you might be comming... I know it is a bit early to say.. but this was so ppl have a chance to get time off.

Hmmm. £100-£150 per person is more than I paid for staying in a hotel with breakfast in Edinburgh for the three-day weekend (Friday-Monday). Is that just for accommodation, Wimsy?
Yeah... I don´t feel like paying over 1000skr for a meet... And I don´t know if I would like to pay that even if everything is included... It is to much monney...

looks like a giant questionmark you paid 150 pounds for the whole weekend on hotel in edinburgh??? I paid 230 punds for the hotel with the fridge-breakfast.....
Well the 100 - 150 pounds are surposed to be for the wholde weekend..incl all... well ofcause not your plaintickets etc. I spend a bit over 650 pounds on the edingburgh trip, so thought this was cheap.
and as I said.. I cant say the real price yet.. before I know some numbers.

Ok - the meet is only a bit over a week away now.
from The One I only have shekin on my list over ppl who have booked flights and who are 100% sure of attending.
Since we are so close to the meet now, I guess thismeans he will be the onlyone attending from The One.
So you can pump him for info on the meet once he returns
