General
We had an open meeting on Friday, March 6th, to discuss our options to expand participation in 25-person raiding in The Honourbound Alliance. This was predominantly focussed around 25-person Naxxaramas. I took some notes while there which you might find interesting.

- About 50 interested people:
- 32 people signed up for meeting
- Another 12 people were interested but unavailable to come (marked as "not coming")
- None of the people online were from DarkSins, although Subcool joined later.
- Cannonblast figures we have about 12 healers, so no problem if everyone showed up.
- Cannonblast says it's a known problem that some people can't do certain nights:
- Baldette can't do Tuesday
- Magansana can't do Sunday
Cannon's Initial Thoughts:
- Keep the 10-person teams together as much as possible in 25-person teams as those are probably people who already want to raid together.
- Thinking Team Vermillion + Team Pink, Team Coal + Team Green.
- Run the different 25-person groups on different days.
Problems:
- Basil:
- Team Vermillion + Team Green aren't stable 10-person teams. More padding than just 5 would be needed to bring up to 25 people.
- Daywise: Which days? Overwhelming pref for Sunday and Tuesday based on survey results, although it was noted from the comments on the survey and people at the meeting that many people chose Sunday and Tuesday because those are the current nights.
- Fixed teams are mostly then going to be along guild lines, so from point of view of people getting to know others, not sure that's so wise.
- Subcool:
- Most of DarkSins team can make Sunday, Monday, Wednesday.
- Team DarkSins is short on healers.
- Elsheindra (via Raid chat):
- Some people aren't gung-ho on 4 nights of raiding a week. 3 was reasonable, but not 4. One suggestion was to alternate weeks with 25-person and 10-person content. That could be combined with the joint teams possibly. Cannon suggests maybe have one night a week for 25-person. Another possibility is alternate 2 nights a week for 25 and then 10.
- Raid balance: What are you going to do with 4 to 6 tanks by combining two ten-person teams plus the ones from Dark Sins.
Possibilities:
- Divinity: Most people can make Sundays which are the days you can run with fewer if you start with easier quarters then the second day is different for the teams.
- People not in fixed teams:
- Témujin
- Rolaren
- Destony
- Spankmee
- Hotcathy
- Hiccup
Plan:
- Sunday will be switchable day for both teams. Each team will choose another day. Each team will run 2 nights one week then one night the following week, but alternating. That is, in the week where the first team runs twice, the other team will only run its 25-person team once. That gives equal time to 10- and 25-person teams, plus means only three days a week needed for raiding.
- Need to work out what second day will day, preferably on separate days. Raid leaders to be speak to their teams and determine what the best second day would be.
- This week and next week will remain as we currently are. Takes us to the 17th.
- Have guilds remind people to let Basil/survey (http://tr.im/gNWQ) know when people reach L80 and want to go raiding so we have info on them.
