This week's 25-person run on Tuesday had to be cancelled because Cannon was only able to assemble 14 of the people on the rota for Tuesday evening. That meant there were 11 spots to fill. Some of the missing people he knew about in advance, but the majority he didn't.
We recognize that real life sometimes intervenes. However, if at all possible, if you're signed up for an event, whether because you're part of a team and automatically signed up or you've signed up yourself, please inform the event leader in advance of the event or use GEM to mark yourself as "not coming" if you're unable to attend for some reason.
In addition, we've had a few incidents of people signing up for events and then going off for a "better offer" at the last minute. That's not acceptable behaviour and could lead to losing raid spots or not being given them as you'll get a reputation for unreliability.
As a casual raiding alliance, we rely heavily on people making commitments and keeping to them in order to run our events and progress. Please do your part: make your commitments or do the responsible thing and let people know in advance.
Thanks!

Hi
Firstly my sympathies for the 14 peeps who did turn up im sure your continued support has been noted by the powers above. in future could i recommend that the organisers look outward into THB to players that are not normaly issued invites to the 25 man events to fill your gaps as im sure thier are dozens of players who donot normaly have access to such events that would happily offer thier support for an evening many of whom are more than well enough equiped to help in 10 and 25 man events but have not had the oppertunity to shine
Thanks

I'd just like to point out that Tuesdays are a particularly poor evening to find substitutes, especially in large numbers. Teams Pink, DarkSins, and Coal are already scheduled for something. Teams Mercury and Atomic Tangerine are running 10-person instances. That doesn't leave a lot of free people.
Also, it's not just people who are equipped who are required. It's people who are familiar with the content, capable, not locked (night before reset!), and the right roles. It may have been possible to find 11 people, but not necessarily 11 appropriate people who would have enabled the group to make progress, which is part of the purpose of fixed groups. Smaller number of spots are being filled in by available people when they crop up even outside the stated fixed teams. The point being made here is that 11 is a lot of spots to fill on short notice and there shouldn't be so many.
We've been working hard to fit people into the 25-person runs. We currently have almost a 40-person rotation and we're looking at forming a second 25-person team when some of the newer 10-person teams have more experience. If we do get a second 25-person team, that's really going to make it all the more important for people to attend when signed up as the replacement pool will be even smaller.
B&E (and probably Cannon too, but that's putting words into his mouth)
