Wimsy (Roses of Dawn) is interested in coordinating another Honourbound meet, possibly for the winter or spring of 2010. Her intention was to have one that everyone could afford to attend, so it would not be held in a city, but in some sort of self-catering accommodation. I've copied here her original posting back from June, 2009, as well as her latest posting from November 29th, 2009.

Hiya Guys and Gals.
I can see your having a smaller meet in london in july, and I started to think about maybe it was time for a bigger one where we oversea'ers could join in.
So I calculated that if us poor people should have a chance to come we needed at least 6 months to save up, maybe more.. so I was thinking of this winter, or maybe the beginning of 2010 - closer to spring?
I dont mind organising, done that kind of stuff before - but might need a hand from someone in the UK for checking out the location I find and maybe do some of the communication - and it's always nice to have some help.
So first of all : Basil would you copy paste this post to the Honourbound forums?
Second: Are you guys up for it?
I am counting on finding a place we can all stay cheap.. so wount be in the city - no resturant trips or anything, we will have to plan some games and quizzes for the evenings, and we can cook ourselves.. well.. someone should know how to cook Tongue
so what do you say??

Hey - I have been to http://www.coedybrenin.com/ , and it is a nice place, and the people there are very helpfull, I think it is like 20 pounds per night per person, and we can prolly fit in the main house alone.
So what do you guys think? would you come if it was there?
is it too far away as it is in Wales? or a good *in the middle solution?
[Section relevant to Roses only removed – Ein]
mainhouse is if i remember corretly 2 or 3 2-person bedrooms upstairs, a 4 person room upstairs, a 4 and a 6 person room downstairs, and if needed there is also 2 caravans out back that can house 4 or so each.
then there is a semi large lounge room, and a kitchen that we could cook in just fine.
there is also a extra house a bit up the road - like 100 meters or so, and that has a bunch of 2 person rooms aswell.
Lemme know what you think.
Edit:
Ast suggested http://www.torviewcentre.co.uk/barn.html and I agree it sure looks nice, and the prices are about the same if we get over 12 ppl Smiley
So please leve feedback Smiley

im game for this, anywere fine by me. can pos even drag gawaine away from the bunny to come as well.
Only thing to keep in mind is for those people that cant drive so might need somewere closeish to a train station. Also pos a place that caters for 'Tents' for those like me that like to sleep outdoors.
Yes, I'd noticed when I checked out the place that it made no mention of transportation instructions except by car. Chester (one of the instruction points) can be reached by train easily enough, but I'm not sure beyond that.
Aye, I will keep the train thing in mind, or come up with another plan for us no-car people. - I am a spoiled woman and was prolly counting on men to come and pick me up hehe.
and about the tent - I am sure you can put up a tent at both locations if you like, you will prolly have to pay the same fee as indoor users though, og dont forget it is most likely april or march, dont want you freezing your behind off

The organizer for this has disappeared so we'll need someone to take over organization if we want it to happen. Any volunteers?
