Team DarkPinkCoal hopes to run tonight!

I've heard a rumour that Cannonblast's hoping that enough people from Team DarkPinkCoal are around tonight (January 3rd) to go to Icecrown Citadel and work towards downing the fourth boss before the new boss becomes available.

More Kitty Pictures at 6 Months
Last changed: Jan 07, 2010 06:03 by Elsheindra
Labels: pictures, pets

It's hard to believe, but Kitty Copernicus and Kitty Galileo are a week shy of 6 months old already. True, we've only had them for 3 months, but it seems like forever! In honour of the kitties "getting fixed" today (they're at the vet's right now), here are some updated pictures from a few days ago.

Copernicus and Ein (The Heaven Help Us Shot)

It's Copernicus and the Ein in bed. Kitty Copernicus thinks that the Ein's chest is the best place to cuddle up. That's probably because it's close to her nose, for which he has an inordinate fondness.

Galileo and Copernicus

Here are both of the monsters keeping still and looking cute, which they absolutely are when they're being good! Look at those tufty ears!

This Week's Guild Meeting
Labels: news

Guild meetings have started again. This week's meeting will be on Thursday at 19:30 Game Time at the Gilded Rose Inn in Stormwind.

I will be unable to attend as I'll be off at an evening workshop, but some of the other officers should be present to hold the meeting.

Nevari the lost wanderer
Last changed: Jan 24, 2010 08:35 by Dérthon
Labels: story

Once upon a time there was an adventurer called Nevari, he was obviously very lost.

He traveled from city to city, from country to country well atleast he thought that way as
he didn't have any clue where he was.

One day he got in trouble by helping someone injured in middle of road while truck was coming which made a swerve to avoid hitting him and then hit a tree and fell into a ditch which was not really a ditch but huge cliff fortunately it was only carrying Basil as cargo which unfortunately once again got dumped into the ocean.

Next day he went to a bunny farm where the Bunny Meat Co. Chief executive officer Jeanda was with his twin brother Breicor eating blueberries with a fork.

There was an ad on of the barn doors, it was a bounty to bring Nevari dead or alive to the EVILE Ein who was the leader of World Domatination Co. with their catch phrase "Sacrifice is only worthy if it's a gnome especially a fishy one".

Nevari started his escape with everyone hunting him for the bounty reward, he knew that he couldn't escape them forever but he had to try because he loved soup and that he wouldn't never get again if he was captured.

Nevari went to hide in a forest where the bounty hunters got him surrounded without a way to escape,
suddenly a dog came to his side and prevented the bounty hunters taking Nevari by attacking them.
In middle of the fighting three other wanderers came to fight the bounty hunters, they were called Harl, Leony and the legend that is Big G!

In the end the four wanderers walked together to the sunset while admiring the legend for being the Big G!

However the farm wasn't really a bunny farm, it was the secret base of a man that liked to eat toast made by shiny toaster.
He tought the story didn't have happy ending and proceeded to nuke the adventurer to bits and pieces with his nuclear missiles.

The end.

PS. Bunnies.

I'm taking suggestions for next month's story, please send them to henri.ahvenniemi@gmail.com !

Xylo is not a happy bunny!!

Well where do I start.

As some of you witnessed earlier I had a slight rant in game and logged off. There was a very good reason for this rant, I hate liars and elitism!

I have been playing this game for 4 years now. I have been in The One for 2 years (with a slight mini break when i thought the grass was greener!) Up until a few weeks ago my gear really sucked and i barely did anything to up my game and try and improve. Then I figured why not try and improve and see if maybe you can join the odd raid and see some end game content. So thats what I did. Along with my trusty partner in crime Shiva, we farmed HC's and improved our gear. I sorted my spec and spell rotation and got enchants, asked advice on gems etc etc.

So, this evening I was randomly asked/told 2 join up for Team Crimson Fury's ToC 25 man raid. I did. I watched videos and read tactics on the net. It then turned out the main raid leaders wouldnt be on tonight so i thought i say dont invite me if not needed, its my first time and i dont want 2 be a hinderance. I got told if they needed DPS id be considered. I was then asked what my DPS was, i told the person and then asked what my spec was. I didnt hear anything back. In guild ppl were asked if anyone was free to tank/heal ToC25. Some DPS'ers answered they were free. I was then whispered back and told 'we are now full with the main raid teams DPS but please feel free to sign up for more raids.' Fine i thought, till i noticed that the ppl who had offered their DPS services were in the raid. That hurts. If i wasnt wanted in the raid why wasnt i just told that, instead of being lied 2?

Another thing that narks me is the fact that if u ask if anyone wants 2 do a HC u come up against a wall of silence in Guild chat then see that others have joined HC's together. Am i really that bad?

I have spoken to an officer this evening and we both feel a meeting between GM's and raid leaders would help us sort out and understand why we have developed a 'if your face fits' kind of attitude.

I know i can be slightly dizzy at times, but I do as Im told and I listen and just really want to have a blast at end game content.

And yes, I know what you'll all say, people have offered to set up raids so i can see end game stuff and this is appreciated, but it would be nice if this was done when Im available and not when Im slogging my guts out at work. Then i return home, get invited to the raid and after 2 bits of trash the raid is ended. Nice! And if i remember rightly the raid i joined up 2 do the raid weekly quest in Uld i was quite near the top of the DPS list!

So please, take into consideration us non elite raiders who put the effort in to maybe be allowed to do the odd raid now and again?

Add your WoW Armoury Character Model to Your Profile
Last changed: Jan 31, 2010 09:15 by Elsheindra

A week or two ago I created a new macro for the website that allows you to embed the swoopy new WoW Armoury model viewer for a given character on a page.

Want one for your profile page? You'll need the following code: {armouryviewer:CharacterName}

As an example, {armouryviewer:Elsheindra} would produce:
