Team Pink Coal (AKA Basils' Icecrown Citadel drop-in) had a fantastic night in Icecrown Citadel (10-person) on Monday evening. Phoeb was going to be an hour late, so the team headed off to do some poking at the Blood Prince Council, a group of three bosses. Basil's first cunning plan was to have Ânimus tank these flying blue orb things. Unfortunately, after trying to keep Ânimus alive with all three healers and failing, even with PvP gear and extra stamina, a change of plan was clearly needed. Veiliah, Basil's moonkin, to the rescue! Backed up by his trusty Elsheindra healer, the brilliant plan succeeded and the team were able to down the nasties and picked up an achievement to boot for nobody taking more than 23k in a single spell hit. THB first on both accounts!

Due to 25-person Icecrown Citadel not having any instances free on Sunday evening, they'd done a little practicing on Professor Putricide as a ten-person group, managing to get him down to 33% on their best attempt, leaving four or five tries left for the week. The team had left Putricide aside in favour of the Blood Princes because Phoeb was going to be late. Once he was back with them, they were able to quickly down Professor Putricide as well. Yet another THB first and they still had 3 attempts left to use on the the Blood-Queen!

Even though it was late, heady with their success, they decided to give the Blood-Queen a try. After a two attempts, they were able to get her down to about 15%, so she looks very, very doable. I'm sure she'll be downed later this week.

Team Pink Coal is composed mostly of members of Team Pink mixed with some members of Team Coal. They also have random drop-in people from time to time. For the Blood Princes, the team was:
