The Guild maintains several banks slots as a guild bank with items in them. Some of these items may be given to other guild members or sold for the benefit of the guild. If you have items you think other guild members might like, you can deposit them in the bank.
In particular it's useful to donate blue (or higher!) items, gems, money, and various profession recipes.
Seeing What's In The Bank
Anyone can view items held in the guild bank just by visiting any bank location in Azeroth and finding the appropriate guild bank outlet there (look like safes often). The bank is organized into tabs where each tab is designed to store specific kinds of stuff. For example, there's a tab for storing recipes used in various professions and another tab with gems and essences.
Funding The Bank
In order to fund the bank so we can donate money for people's mounts, buy bag slots, etc. I'd like to request that each person with a level 70 character donate one day's worth of income from daily quests each month. That is, you pick some day to be your donation day and you do as many dailies as possible and donate the results. If enough of us do that regularly, the bank should always be fine for money.
Donations of money in any amounts are, of course, always appreciated at any time.
Donating To The Bank
Anyone can donate items or money to the bank. There's a "Deposit" button to donate money.
Anyone can donate items by dragging the item out of their own bags and into an empty bank slot. Note that the bank is organized into different sections. Please try to deposit your item in the appropriate section. Some thing it doesn't make sense to deposit because they're either too common or not worthwhile. Grey items, for example, most white items, health/mana potions, etc.
Withdrawing From The Bank
Only officers and the guild mistress can withdraw items from the bank. If you see something you'd like, please make a request of one of the officers. If they think that request is reasonable, they'll give you the item(s) on the understanding that you try to replace the item or donate something of equivalent use/value when you can, so that we can keep the bank going. It won't work if everyone just withdraws items and nobody helps replace them.
Money donated to the bank is currently being used to buy more bank slots. It can also be used to fund someone's initial character mount at level 40. Other uses may be considered if funds are available.
When money or items are withdrawn from the bank, Officers should make a comment on this page as to what was withdrawn and where it went. While the bank does have a log, it only holds 25 transactions a tab, which isn't much!
The EasyComeEasyGo! Tab
The very first tab is the Easy Come, Easy Go! tab. You can place items in there which are consumables of various kinds that you think might be useful to people and which you don't mind people possibly abusing: food, health potions, mana potions, reputation items, etc. Anyone can remove items from that tab on their own, up to the maximum # of items per day (currently day).

Popcorn and I did some bank cleaning the other night, so we have some slots free again. We pulled a pile of stuff out of the bank and gave it away, auctioned it, or vendored it. Any money made went back into the bank.
I did some bank cleaning a few days ago (with help from kari)... took out some gems and darkmoon farie cards (belive thats what they are) and put it in my BankOfficerToon's bank to save so they dont take up space in the guildbank.. all gold made from auctions and/or vendor is in the bank again.
Plz tell me if there is something any of you want me to do different...
