The Razorfen Kraul is perhaps an underappreciated dungeon, hidden away in the southernmost tip of the Barrens. It's home to quests for both Alliance and Horde and features some class-specific quests as well

The Quests (By Level)

• L26 Blueleaf Tubers. Pick up this quest from Mebok Mizzyrix in Ratchet, in the Barrens. He's beside the Bank in Ratchet. Don't forget to pick up the manual, crate and the staff to the left of him.

• L27 Willix the Importer. Pick up this quest from Willix inside the Razorfen Kraul. He's on the left side of the Kraul (after entering), not far from Heralath Fallowbrook for the Mortality Wanes quest. It's recommended to do this on the way out as it's an escort quest which can't be re-obtained once you've abandoned it.

• L28 For warriors, Fire Hardened Mail. Pick up this quest (part of a series) from Furen Longbeard in the Dwarven Embassy, Dwarven District, Stormwind. You first need to do The Shieldsmith which can be picked up from Yorus Barleybrew in Lakeshire (Redridge Mountains).

• L30 Mortality Wanes. Pick up this quest from Heralath Fallowbrook in the Razorfen Kraul. You'll find him by taking the first left turning when you enter the dungeon and continuing along that side of the dungeon. This quest needs to be returned to Treshala Fallowbroook in Darnassus. Treshala can be found in the Tradesman's Terrace, on the second floor of the second big building heading south from the Warrior's Terrace.

• L34 Krone of the Kraul. Pick up this quest from Falfindel Waywarder in Thalanaar. It also ends with him. He's on the border of Thousand Needles/Ferlas. To pick up this quest, you first need to get and do Henrig Lonebrow's Journal. The journal can be obtained at the bottom the Thousand Needles elevator (The Great Lift), lying on the ground south with a dead body, not far from the elevator. If it's not there, wait for a respawn (about 5 minutes, in the beta). Take the journal to Falfindel Waywarder. He'll then give you the Krone quest.

Transportation

• From Ratchet: Take a boat to Ratchet or walk from Astranaar (Ashenvale). Once in Ratchet, head back east to Crossroads, and head south. Go almost all the way down to the bottom of the map. Razorfen Kraul is on the west side of the road at the bottom.

Hints and Tips

• Do Willix the Importer on the way out of the Razrenfen Kraul as it's an escort quest (contributed by Dimage). Once you abandon it, it can't be picked up again.

Exploits

• March 18, 2005: Swiftsong (L28/29 Hunter), Elsheindra (L29/L30 Druid), Schnurbart (L31 Warrior), Ayrton (L36 Paladin), and Beldara (L38 Paladin) finished all the quests, except the specialty warrior quest. Only one death, when one of the party fell down into a mess of nasties.
• March 13, 2005: Swiftsong (L28/29 Hunter), Elsheindra (L29/L30 Druid), Ayrton (L32 Paladin), Dimage (L28/L29 Hunter), and Soda (L31 Warrior) finished the Blueleaf Tuber and Mortality Wanes quests, but didn't manage to penetrate far enough for the Krone of the Kraul.
