This is no place for raindrops on roses. You'll really have to hussle in order to pick up all the pre-quests and quests. You'll find Zuk'Farrak a little north and a lot west of Gadgetzan (Tanaris).

The Quests (By Level)

• L45 Scarab Shells. Pick up this quest from Tran'rek in Gadgetzan, Tanaris. This quest is part of a series. You first need to do L45 Tran'rek. Pick this up from Krazek, in Booty Bay, in Stranglethorn Vale.

• L45 Troll Temper. Pick this up from Trenton Lighthammer in Gadgetzan (Tanaris).

• L46 Tiara of the Deep. Pick this up from Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh. She's north of Stonemaul Ruins but south of the Quagmire. This is part of a series. You may first need to do Tabetha's Task (L46), picked up from the mage trainer in the Hall of Mysteries, Mystic Ward (Ironforge). However, rumour has it you can just find Tabetha and pick up Step 2 directly. Confirmed that step 2 can be completed without step 1.

• L47 The Prophecy of Mosh'Aru. Pick up this quest from Yeh'kinya in Steamwheedle (Tanaris). This is part of a series and you first need to do Screecher Spirits (L44), also picked up from Yeh'kinya.

• L47 Nekrum's Medallion. Pick up this quest from Thadius Grimshade at the Nethergarde Keep (Blasted Lands). This is part of a chain. Start with,
• L47 Thadius Grimshade. Pick that up from Gryphon Master Talonaxe at Aerie Peak (Hinterlands). This is part of a chain. You'll first need to do L45 Witherbark Cages and then L48 Altar of Zul, both picked up from Gryphon Master Talonaxe at Aerie Peak (Hinterlands). Make sure you go into the actual altar and get a mallet off one of the elites! After that, you can do L47 Thadius Grimshade, also picked up from Gryphon Master Talonaxe.

• L47 Divino-matic Rod gives out a choice of a blue ring or blue headgear good for druids. Pick it up from Chief Engineer Bilgewhizzle in Gadgetzan (Tanaris).

• L50 Gahz'rilla, picked up from Wizzle Brassbolts in the Shimmering Flats (Thousand Needles), is part of a series. First do the L46 Brassbolts Brothers, obtained from Klockmort Spannerspan in Tinkertown (Ironforge) and returned to Wizzle Brasbolts (Shimmering Flats). At least one person in your party will also need a mallet you picked up from the earlier adventure to the Altar of Zul in the Hinterlands.

Transportation

How to get there. See also Transportation Links for flight paths and boat routes.

From Gadgetzan: Head west of Gadgetzan to Sandsorrow Watch. At Sandsorrow Watch, head north to Zul'Farrak.

From Thousand Needles: After taking the Great Life into Thousand Needles, run east along the road, until you enter the Shimmering Flats. There's an outlet south of the middle of the Flats. Run through that and into Tanaris. Keep running along the road until you hit Gadgetzan.

Hints and Tips

• A map of the instance compiled by someone else.
• For the L48 Altar of Zul, try running up the top of the Altar and back down immediately. Don't try engaging the 2 level 50 elites at the top, plus their minions.
